Thai Peanut Sauce



Thai Peanut Sauce
Makes 1 cup

3 T. smooth peanut butter
1/3 cup water
2 1/2 T. Bragg's Liquid Amino's (or soy sauce)
2 t. sesame oil
2 T. lime juice
1/3 cup coconut milk
1/2 t. chili garlic paste*

Place all the ingredients in a small sauce pan. On medium heat, bring mixture to a simmer. Whisk ingredients and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat, pour into a heat proof dish. The mixture will thicken as it cools. Serve at room temperature.

Store extra sauce in  the refrigerator. Reheat and thin with a little water if needed before serving.

*if you do not want the red chili pepper then just use 1-2 cloves garlic, minced.
