Tahini Sauce
This sauce can be used as a dip, on falafel pita sandwiches or as a salad dressing. If you want the sauce thinner add a small amount of water.
Tahini Sauce
Makes about 1/2 cup
Ingredients:
¼ cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
2 cloves garlic, finely minced or 3 cloves if you like
stronger garlic flavor
2 T. extra virgin olive oil
½ t. salt
¼ cup fresh lemon juice (juice of one lemon)
1 T. finely minced parsely
Directions:
In a small combine all the ingredients except the
parsley. Whisk until blended smooth. If too thick, add 1 tsp. at a time of
lemon juice or water to get desired consistency. Stir in parsley.
Serve immediately or store in a covered container in the
refrigerate. Will keep for about 2 weeks.
